Vote “No” in November

We are asking that all supporters to vote “No” on all November referenda in Memphis’ 2018 elections.

November ballot questions should all be marked “No” to save Instant Runoff Voting

  1. Expand the current term limit of two consecutive terms of office for the mayor and council members to three consecutive terms of office effective immediately.
  2. Repeal any use of instant-runoff or ranked-choice voting in city elections.
  3. Eliminate the runoff provision required in the city charter currently for all single-member district city council races in which no candidate gets a majority of the votes cast.
